Warmer in the winter

Cooler in the summer

The next generation of living space

Conservatories are continually evolving thanks to a combination of technological advances and consumer demand. The next generation of living spaces is already here, but if you already have a conservatory, you can still improve its look and feel by upgrading to a new, super light tiled roof.

Solid roof conservatories provide homeowners with comfortable living spaces, in a practical environment that has all the energy saving and sound absorbing qualities that you’d expect from a modern conservatory.

Once we’ve installed your solid conservatory roof, you’ll be able to turn your conservatory into whatever you want, a family dining room or kitchen extension, a playroom, library, home study or office, games room, TV lounge, it could even be a ground floor bedroom. The insulated, solid roof will make a huge difference to the acoustics and the general atmosphere of your conservatory. All of a sudden it’s a full-time living area instead of being a part-time compromise.

We also offer replacment of consevatery frames in uPVC or timber.

Besides the aesthetic appearance, PVCu is an excellent choice due to the energy saving qualities. uPVC has a full featured moldings, and comes in a variety of colours and wood effects.

Traditionally, conservatories have a reputation of being too hot in the summer and drafty and chilly in the winter months, but we offer SGG PLANITHERM 4S for conservatory wall glazing, as a thermally efficient alternative to regular double glazing.

By updating the glass of the walls, your conservatory can be a natural extension to your home, providing usable, extra living space to be enjoyed all year long. SGG PLANITHERM 4S combines solar control and thermal insulating properties, to provide a comfortable year round environment, enabling you to get the most out of your conservatory whatever the weather. SGG PLANITHERM 4S can save you money on your energy bills too. The thermal insulating properties mean you will use less energy to heat your conservatory to the desired temperature. The energy cost reduction can be as much as 28%.

In the summer, when SGG PLANITHERM 4S is used in conservatory side walls, it provides excellent levels of solar protection for conservatory side walls, reflecting unwanted heat by up to 56%. It reduces excessive heat build up compared to standard glazing. And has an attractive neutral appearance giving you a clear view of your surroundings.

During the winter months, it also provides unbeatable thermal insulation, reflecting heat back into the room and reducing heat loss more effectively than traditional low-emissivity glass products, meaning 63% less heat loss compared to ordinary double-glazing. Energy efficiency is increased by retaining more heat in the room; which in turn reduces your heating bills! Cold spots and draughts are also minimised, and internal condensation is virtually eliminated.
